Dork score: 7/10
I didn't know who Bernie Sanders was before he ran for president, but I'm glad I do now. Before I started to read about him and what he stands for - and especially before I read this book, I figured he was just a third party crackpot candidate who helped draw votes away from Hilary Clinton - and potentially helped Donald Trump secure the election. If all I did was continue to listen to main stream media, my thoughts about him wouldn't have changed.
Boy has he got things to say. A story to tell and many, many facts and opinions to share. He had so much to say, he split the audio book reading up with the actor, Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk). I had to renew this audio book twice to get through the whole thing. It was a bit repetitive on some topics such as corporate greed and the dangers of oligarchy. The book could have been trimmed down a bit as some large sections contain ranting and some rambling - But, I think this served a purpose of drilling his points into the reader's head.
